June 24, 2015

This coming Sunday Lakeshore’s youth will lead the worship service. This will be a service of song and testimony, highlighting the youth-written book “Hymns of Our Faith.” In this book, the teens interviewed members of Lakeshore about their favorite hymns, spiritual songs and worship music, and then wrote up these reflections. Excerpts from the book will be shared, and the service will celebrate a breadth of sacred music that shapes our common faith. Pastor Tanner will also offer a meditation on Psalm 23, one of the musical selections featured in “Hymns of Our Faith.”

Following coffee hour, the forum will be an opportunity to sing hymns that are meaningful to you and share more testimonies about the power of the many hymns and spiritual songs that shape our faith. You will also be able to purchase an autographed copy of “Hymns of Our Faith” at the Forum.
