Christmas Eve falls on Sunday this year meaning that a good but long day is in store for our musicians and worship leaders. To accommodate them, the 10:00 a.m. service will be more like what the Christmas Eve evening service has been in recent years with the Voices of Lakeshore and the Lakeshore Handbell Ensemble taking leading roles. The LABC Children also will participate in this service.
The 5:00 service will be shaped around the singing of Christmas Carols, much like what our Sunday after Christmas worship has often been. Stan’s prelude will begin at 4:45, Gerry Grosz has been invited to be the pianist, there will be a Children’s Story and the service will conclude with the lighting of candles and the singing of “Silent Night.”
Our hope is that you will be able to attend both of the services and you will invite a friend.
